How do we answer the question?
The simple answer - we don't.
However, we believe our authors have the answer, or at least their answer, and that it should be shared with the world. Ultimately that's what matters to us most, sharing the answer to the question we ask ourselves everyday, "Who Are You?" Who Are You Publishing is dedicated to finding new voices; voices of women, people of color, and all unique perspectives not widely represented in today's publishing industry. We are searching for writers who firmly understand their voice and simply require a platform to be heard as well as those on a journey to discover themselves and their identity as an author.

Who Are We?
Alice ran into the White Rabbit in college and followed him down the rabbit-hole of friendship. Ever since, they've worked together on various projects and share a mutual adoration for literature, breakfast tacos, and creative freedom. Both Alice and the White Rabbit have multiple degrees in English and some would even call half of the duo a "master" of Literature. As people, they are scripturients, afflicted by the need to write and create. As publishers and editors, they look for stories and poems with themes of identity, gender, and anything snarky.
Alice believes in reading everything but parking tickets. But if she had to pick, she prefers fiction to nonfiction, not really enjoying biographies or memoirs. The subgenres of fiction Alice enjoys are humor, children's books, drama, realistic fiction, tragedy, and poems in free verse. She is ambivalent on romance, fantasy, and sci-fi.
The White Rabbit prefers fiction to non-fiction. His favorite subgenres are romance, humor, epic poems, and identity-centric works. He has neutral feelings about children's books and memoirs (unless the memoirs tie back to identity and gender). He has adverse feelings for historical fiction, biographies, folklore, and mysteries. Also, contrary to popular belief, tea time is far more important to White Rabbit than Mad Hatter.
The Rest of the Tea Party

The Cheshire Cat loves to read anything with twists and turns, unique perspectives, and cross-genre works. He really just wants something he can sink his teeth into and masticate on. Something like sci-fi, drama, or horror.

The Queen of Hearts is a sucker for romance, historical, and historical romance. She does enjoy reading something with action, preferably a beheading. Send her any story with gore, glory, and the champion of a good queen over her inferior kingdom.

The Mad Hatter is a little, well, mad. His bookshelf is filled with epic fantasy, mythology influenced fiction, and stories of dragons. He has a few calming books of poetry he reads with his morning tea, but mostly he sticks to magical realism and tales with an unlikely hero.
